Water Access Explain
The school children together with the community members share the same borehole which has issues because little water comes out of the borehole it takes somebody or a school child to pump for about an hour before filling up one jerrycan.
Prevent Ownership
The community together with the school management committee should come together and share the same responsibilities and ownership of the borehole.
Allow Ownership
They attend community meetings whenever called upon and this will be very easy for Kibo and the community to pave a way forward
Village Notes
The school will be meeting with the other community members on how both can share the responsibility towards this borehole. The other side of the community where Kibo drilled a new borehole have done a good job to maintain this borehole however it’s always congested due to a high population and the borehole at the school not working effectively does not help much.

Notes
David and Steven had gone to kigalama to open up the borehole at the primary school . However they were unable to open the borehole because the school had organized a parents meeting at the school and all the parents were required to attend that meeting. They thought opening up the borehole, removing all the parts and putting them back would take long and disorganize the parents to attend the meeting. They manage to meet with fourteen members ,the deputy headmaster, one teacher from kigalama primary school and encouraged them to continue working together as they share the same roles and responsibilities of their borehole. They continued to encourage the school management committee members and the community members to work and improve on their sanitation standards as well as, finishing up with the work of the borehole fence construction.David and Steven then decided to move around the entire community of kigalama trying to monitor on the sanitation status of the different homes. They moved in about 20 homes but they were happy TO see that most of the facilities in those homes were good and maintained. The only challenge was on one facility which was the hand washing facility. David and Steven kept on encouraging them to work and improve on the old facilities which needed to be improved upon not forgetting the construction of the handwashing facility. They also reached the Kibo borehole and the status of the borehole was good and well maintained. Their borehole account is currently having 210000 shillings. Mr. batusa said that they hope to be meeting every after two months in order to figure out what they were to add to their borehole account as well as assessing where they could be failing. David and Steven encouraged them to continue contributing towards their borehole as well as sanitation meetings in order to ensure their borehole sustainability . As they were moving home to home encouraging the members to improve on their sanitation ,on the side where David was he found the group of mr mwanja making stoves on their own for other community members. He thanked them and encouraged them to teach more community members by increasing on the number of members in the group for quick speed in the stoves development .David continued encouraging the members during the home to home movements since it is a rainy season to plant more food and also balancing between the garden work and the hygiene and sanitation improvement in their homes to avoid a lot of diseases during this rainy season . They left the village hoping to open the borehole at the school the next Wednesday on 14/03/2018 when they think everyone will be around and communicated to the Hand pump mechanic to be around and early enough.
