Notes
Alex b and Chris went to nabituluntu and managed to meet 14 community members, the intent of the meeting was to continue with discussions about the constitution of the community. Alex b and Chris have been making a number of trips to engage the community members in making sure that everyone’s opinion is captured. Alex b and Chris found the members already at the venue , the chairperson welcome Alex and Chris and opened the meeting right away. The chairperson started the meeting by reviewing what they had discussed before Alex and Chris visited, this was encouraging because now the community is able to meet and discuss how to develop and work together, a thing Alex b and Chris have been advocating for. The chairperson said the members agreed on the name of the group and the activities they plan to do as a group , the name is bakusekamajja mvule community group while they plan to rear chicken as a group. The chairperson thanked kibo for guiding them towards development and working together and promised to continue working with kibo to see that their community improves their standards of living. Chris also encouraged the members in the meeting to think beyond and have bid dreams for their community and then work towards achieving their dreams however he said this is only achieved when they start working together as a community. The chairperson requested for a sample a constitution to guide them as they discuss about drafting their constitution. Alex be promised to carry the sample of the constitution and the leaders and the members to cooperate and work together. After the meeting Alex b and Chris proceeded to the homes of the members as they they checked on the status of the trees they planted. Alex b and Chris were so impressed when they found the trees in good condition and growing well , the members were encouraged to replace the trees they have cut down . Alex and Chris will be going back on 22/11/2020 To continue with the engagement with the community members pertaining the constitution of the community, the mvule staff plans to go with the sample constitution to guide the community members in discussions.
