Martin visited this village to check on latrine construction, dish rack, shower areas, hand washing facilities, kitchen area, rubbish pits, hand washing facilities. When Martin reached, he met the chairman busy with some doctors from the government carrying out immunization in this village. They said they are moving around the whole district to immunize children from killer diseases like measles, polio. The chairman after joined martin and the VHTS to move around to encourage, teach the community to improve on their sanitation. They saw 3 new pit latrines still being dug, one new kitchen completed and well smeared, ash is also being used in the latrines seen. Martin encouraged the members to build hand washing facilities. Martin encouraged the community members to construct good standard facilities to improve on the sanitation and hygiene of the village. There are many new latrines being constructed in this community and the people are so happy using them. The community members also are using the pick axes to continue digging new pits in homes which do not have latrines.
