- Nawandyo A, Maria went to this village to teach about accessing health services. The chair person welcomed the members of the village for the health education lessons and he encouraged them not to get tied of Kibo programs, he then asked one member to open with a word of prayer, thereafter he welcomed Kibo chairperson to say a word to them members. The chairperson ( Kibo) was so excited for the new program Kibo has organized for this village, she encouraged the members to always keep time for the lessons so that we can finish in time and even follow the presidential directive, she then welcomed Maria to say a word to the members. Maria welcomed the members,encouraged them to always put on their masks while in the meeting,asked them some of the reasons that hinders them from accessing the health services, some reasons were personal,like Justine said that her neighbors bewitch her so there is no need of going to hospital for such a case, others said health workers are so rough with mothers who go there for antenatal care and some issues concerned the health workers who ask for too much money ( very expensive) in the nearest health facilities The health inspector encouraged the members to always ran to the nearest health facility whenever they get a health issue,She told them that hospitals are there to help them get better and solve their problems, some people do not go in hospitals thinking that the diseases they have need witch doctors, but try to seek medical attention in any case before you get worse, in case of any issue with the hospital staff always make sure the higher authorities know about their staff’s conduct, she also gave detailed explanation on the services offered at the hospitals in the different levels and encouraged members to utilize them. The chairman thanked members for coming and he encouraged them to always report to the authorities all the problems encountered at the hospitals because their feedback is what makes the services better. The meeting was then closed with a word of prayer and the date for the next meeting told to the members.
