Notes
Abraham and met Kitukiro community members and the first went around checking about how far they have reached in preparation of receiving goats especially goats shelters and hygiene and sanitation. They moved to the upper section because the chairperson Mrs Base said that they have taken some time without checking them. They reached to the home of the chairperson of the ruling party NRM who is also a community member. They found he is constructing a latrine and the dish rack was not so good being eaten by termites. Chris advised him to work on it because next Friday they may go back to check where he has reached. He promised that he is going to use bricks instead of poles because of termites. They checked fifteen homes whereby some were working on improving their facilities and they were caught up with rain which was coming. They came back to the meeting place and they asked the members to give over view of how they are doing and the chairperson Mrs Base said that they still need some improvement mostly on hygiene and sanitation. She recommended them for building goats shelters even if some few members are lagging behind. In conclusion, the community is at 70 percent ready to receive the goats, Abraham will continue preparing the community to receive the goats, next week he will follow up on fulfillment of requirements to receive goats .
