Village Critical Needs
Their road network is bad and needs to be worked on. Also the people in this lower section needs stoves because the time when stoves was working in this community, only the people in the upper section participated but the lower people did not know about it. So stoves is badly needed here.
Village Action Steps
The community members to start gathering poles needed to build a new fence and to mobilise themselves for the next meeting that will involve more training on handling their borehole.
Staff Action Steps
To plan on meeting the community and continue with the training of the community on proper handling of their borehole before it will be opened for use.

The community members in Nabituluntu lower section participate together in all their activities like putting money together in two saving groups known as saccos. Notes
Alex was called by Draco, the drilling company about a team that was coming to carry out borehole installation and casting. After successful drilling of the new borehole in Nabituluntu lower, it was only this stage remaining to complete the work on this borehole. This process involves blowing of the water for at least 3hours for the water to completely clear. Also the percentage water recovery rate is determined during this process. This recovery is determined after test pumping and it’s got by determining how fast the pumped out water is recovered. Also casting of the platform was done. However the water could not clear as expected after 4 hours of non stop blowing. Together we decided to try it again the following day since it was getting very late to make sure it clears before installing the pipes. Because of poor recovery, it took 140 minutes to determine the water recovery for this borehole. The initial static water level for this borehole was at 9.9M and after 4 hours of pumping, it went down to 37.3M. After 140 minutes of waiting for the water to recover to its initial depth, it went up to 20.3M. Meaning its percentage rate of recover is at 58.6%.
